Liability insurance

Liability insurance covers certain amounts for which you may be legally liable for bodily injury or property damage due to a covered accident, like pain and suffering or damages to another person’s car.

Medical payments

Medical payments coverage pays certain medical bills for you and for passengers in your own car if they’re injured in a covered accident. It also provides protection for covered losses if you’re in a covered accident involving a car while on foot.

Uninsured/underinsured motorists coverage

Uninsured motorists coverage provides bodily injury coverage if you or your passengers are injured by a hit-and-run driver or someone without auto insurance. It also covers you if you’re in an accident while on foot.

Underinsured motorists coverage fills in the gaps if you’re in an accident with someone who doesn’t have enough car insurance to cover your losses.

Personal injury protection

Personal injury coverage pays in the event of a covered injury, death, loss of services, or loss of income suffered by you, your covered passengers, or covered family members. (This is not available in all states).

Other auto insurance coverage to consider

We offer comprehensive coverage and collision coverage to help pay for damage to your car.

Basic Loss of Use (also known as Rental Reimbursement) pays for a rental car or other transportation (such as bus or subway) if your car can’t be driven after an accident. Rental Days Plus is a free enhancement to the Loss of Use coverage that can provide unlimited days of rental car coverage.

Paying your insurance bill should be simple. That’s why Allied Insurance offers easy and convenient ways for you to do so. Choose the payment option that works best for you.

Pay in full and save

Avoid service fees when you pay your bill in full. Pay directly with your bank account information, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

6 convenient ways to pay

  1. Automatic payments – Allied automatically deducts your monthly payment from your checking or savings account.Get a sign-up discount1 and save on annual fees. Automatic reoccurring payments through a credit card or debit card are also available.2

    Commercial business customers can call 866-322-3214 to sign up.

  2. Pay Online – Make a payment using your bank account information, credit card or debit card.2 
  3. Use the Mobile App – Download the Allied Mobile App so you can pay using your bank account information, credit card or debit card.2

  5. Pay by Mail – Send a check or money order through the mail in the envelope enclosed with your billing statement.2

Allied auto insurance claims

When you’ve got car insurance from Allied, we take the hassle out of auto insurance claims. Because no two claims are alike, we’ve set up specialized claims teams that can help you get back on the road.

After you notify us of a claim, you’ll choose how you want to have your damage assessed. Our claims associates will take it from there.

Allied Vehicle Repair Network

If you choose to get your car repaired by an Allied Vehicle Repair Network, a scheduler from the shop will contact you to make an appointment. When you bring in your car, a technician will inspect the damage with you and give you a cost estimate. After the inspection, an Allied Claims Associate will contact you to explain how you can stay informed throughout the repair process and provide you with our service guarantee.

Drive-in claims

If you decide to have your car inspected at one of our drive-in claims centers, a claims associate will appraise your vehicle damage on the spot in about 45 minutes. The associate will give you a written estimate to cover the repairs and work with the shop of your choice if there’s additional damage found during the repair process. If you have rental car coverage, your Allied claims associate will also help you get a rental car.

Emergency clean-up service

In the event your car is damaged by water, fire or smoke, we provide contacts for the nearest restoration facility.

Repair shop referral

We will provide you with the name and address of the nearest Allied-approved repair shop, and it’s the only estimate you’ll need. Only shops that meet our stringent guidelines qualify to become one of our shops. We’re so confident in the services these shops provide that we’ll guarantee their work.

Vehicle rental assistance

If your vehicle becomes not drivable because of a covered loss, we can refer you to a national locator service that can find the nearest rental location.

Towing and temporary repairs

To help get you on your way, our customer service representatives can authorize temporary repairs or towing of your disabled vehicle.

Glass replacement

As part of Allied’s glass service program, we’ve teamed with Safelite Solutions to provide fast, reliable auto glass repair or replacement. When you report a glass claim, you’ll speak directly to an auto glass claims specialist who can help you arrange an appointment convenient for you – whether that be at your home, office or other approved location.

When you’ve got roadside assistance coverage on your Allied auto insurance policy, you don’t need to worry if you get stranded on the road. You’re covered in any car – whether it’s insured on your policy or not.

Allied Insurance roadside assistance covers people, not cars. Every relative that lives with you* is covered, no matter what they’re driving – and even when they’re not driving. If a covered customer of your household is a passenger in someone else’s car, they can still use the Allied roadside assistance benefit.

Plus when you select roadside assistance coverage, you automatically receive access to Cross Country Perks – offering valuable discounts on dining, entertainment, pets, services, travel and more!

ID Theft coverage from Allied Insurance can help if your identity is ever stolen.

When you believe you’re the victim of identity theft, we understand the anxiety you experience. At Allied, our ID theft associates will help you determine if your identity has been compromised and how best to repair the damage in an efficient and straightforward manner.

Identity theft services

If you think your identity has been stolen, contact us immediately at 800-282-1446. A claims associate will listen to your situation and tell you how we can help.

Our ID theft services include:

  • Help in identifying fraudulent accounts
  • Replacement of lost income (maximum $250 per day, up to a total of $5,000)
  • Placement of fraud alerts on your credit reports
  • Notification to the Federation Trade Commission and credit reporting agencies
  • Assistance replacing your driver’s license, passport, social security card and other identification documents
  • Cash advances if the theft occurs away from home
  • Credit monitoring services to keep you informed
  • Reimbursement for expenses of executing affidavits
  • Notary and certified mail costs
  • Loan re-application fees

When you report that your identity has been stolen, you’ll have a single contact within our office of ID theft claims. The associate will follow up with you regularly to give you updates on your case until it’s closed.
